Job summary

The Arc of Anchorage seeks a Maintenance Technician to support facility upkeep and fleet management in Anchorage, AK. You will handle plumbing, electrical, heating, and appliance repairs while coordinating vehicle maintenance and records.

You will work in environments serving individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs, and participate in after-hours on-call rotation. A valid Alaska license and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school or similar training preferred.
• Background check and Alaska driver's license required.
• Experience coordinating vehicle or equipment maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests professionally and timely.
• Repair plumbing, heating, electrical systems, carpentry, appliances.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and supply inventories.
• Oversee day-to-day fleet maintenance for agency vehicles.
• Maintain fleet records and vehicle documentation.
• Work in homes and facilities serving individuals with IDD.
• Participate in on-call rotation outside normal hours.
• Perform other maintenance, fleet, and facilities duties as assigned.
