Job summary

Dungarvin in Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure preventive, corrective, and renovative maintenance across assigned buildings, grounds, and vehicles. You will complete repairs and coordinate vendors as needed, while keeping thorough maintenance records and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in building maintenance, with demonstrated cost awareness and the ability to work independently or as part

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of building maintenance experience including heating, plumbing, electrical, and general repair.
• Ability to evaluate cost effectiveness and preventative measures.
• Good decision-making and communication skills; able to work independently and as a team member.
• Transportation and basic tools required.
• On-call availability in evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residential homes, grounds, and property are well maintained and in good repair at all times.
• Participate in general maintenance planning and capital improvements planning.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of Dungarvin's fleet of vehicles.
• Coordinate and secure external vendors for skilled maintenance repairs.
• Ensure organized, responsible maintenance of all tools, equipment and keys.
• Maintain and document repairs and maintenance records.
