Job summary

Dean Dorton is seeking a Workplace Services Supervisor to coordinate facilities operations and firm-wide events across multiple markets. You will oversee day-to-day building functions, manage work orders, and support onboarding and access control while leading scheduling and logistics for events.

You will partner with internal teams to ensure smooth execution, standardize processes, and provide reporting on upcoming events and capacity needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in workplace operations, facilities management, or event planning is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise day-to-day facilities operations to create a welcoming office environment.
• Coordinate facility work orders, track service levels, and manage escalations.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding logistics and building access.
• Support access control systems, badges, and records for hires and departures.
• Supervise facility projects including moves, reconfigurations, and renovations.
• Operate workplace systems (e.g., Agilquest, Asana) and maintain accurate data.
• Oversee event intake, planning workflow, venue selection, catering, and scheduling.
• Provide governance for events calendar and conflict resolution.
• Negotiate contracts for venues and services; troubleshoot real time.
• Provide oversight for staff involved in event setup and breakdown.
