WHC Energy Services, LLC is seeking an Estimator, Facilities in Lafayette, LA or The Woodlands, TX to prepare detailed estimates for facilities projects in the energy sector. You will work with operations, procurement, and project teams to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and timely delivery of bids.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of estimating experience in facilities/industrial energy construction, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with major estimating tools and Excel.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–7 years of estimating experience in facilities, industrial, or energy construction.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Hard Dollar, Sage Estimating, HeavyBid) and strong Excel/MS Office skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed conceptual, budgetary, and final estimates for facilities projects.
• Review project plans, specs, and contract documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, labor productivity assumptions, equipment needs, and material pricing.
• Incorporate historical data, market conditions, subcontractor input, and risk contingencies into estimates.
• Prepare bid summaries, value engineering options, and alternate pricing as required.
• Coordinate with procurement and subcontractors during preconstruction and bid submission.
• Support project handoff and change-order estimating as needed.
