Job summary

Straz Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Tampa seeks a Facilities and Equipment Operations Manager for the Patel Conservatory. This role leads space and equipment operations, supervising the Education Operations Supervisor and part-time staff, and partners with Conservatory and Straz Center departments to ensure efficient setup for classes, productions, camps, events, and daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum five years admin or facilities experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with performing arts education or theater operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily space and equipment functions of the Patel Conservatory.
• Supervise the Education Operations Supervisor and part-time space and equipment assistants.
• Provide leadership, scheduling, and support for the space and equipment team.
• Oversee the Conservatory Master Calendar and space utilization with leadership.
• Coordinate operational needs between Patel Conservatory and Facilities, Security, Production.
• Support budgeting and long-range planning for space and equipment uses.
