Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of technical school or comparable training (military/industry) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with building users.
• Performs maintenance services.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical equipment.
• Repairs doors and other general building components.
• Repairs and maintains pumps, low voltage electrical equipment, air compressors, and other mechanical items.
• Troubleshoots and repairs HVAC systems.
• Installs compressors, motors, and circuit boards.
• Repairs control systems.
• Performs monthly and annual emergency light inspections.
• Inspects Emergency Showers/Eyewash Stations.
• May perform specialized machine operations or parts of a trade.
• Adheres to safety rules and maintains a clean work environment.
• Provides common hand tools used in the trade.
• Other duties as assigned.
