Job summary

You will plan, coordinate, and supervise grounds, cleaning, maintenance, and supervisory staff, while managing related administrative functions to ensure efficiency and compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of 2.5 years of education and experience after high school.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes building work orders and tasks and forecasts staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage.
• Hires, trains, evaluates, counsels, and disciplines employees; enforces safety protocols.
• Coordinates building services including painting, repairs, and maintenance with contractors.
• Manages ordering of supplies and equipment; analyzes data for purchasing and budgeting.
• Inspects cleaning, upkeep, and maintenance; implements industry standards and trains staff.
• Instructs staff on policies and equipment; can perform hands-on tasks when needed.
