Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Supervisor of Facilities Engineering to lead power plant and building systems operations across the hospital campus. You will supervise staff, coordinate maintenance and capital projects, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires experience in building systems, budgeting, and cross-department collaboration to support patient care and service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Bachelors in Engineering/Facilities Mgmt/Leadership or related field preferred.
• 3 years experience as a building systems technician required.
• 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
• 6 years experience as a Building Systems Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain power plant, HVAC and building systems across multiple facilities.
• Coordinate activities with staff, patients, and administration; supervise and train teams.
• Assist in preparing department budgets and project cost analyses.
• Track and follow up on maintenance work requests; ensure timely documentation in CMMS.
• Oversee capital projects from scope through completion with architect/engineer input.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
