Job summary

EOG Resources is seeking an experienced engineer to contribute to pipeline and compression system design, water source and treatment facility design, and production facility development. The role includes economic evaluation of projects and leadership of both contract and company personnel for construction and maintenance in the Midland Division area.

We expect a minimum of 10 years in the oil & gas sector, preferably in the Delaware Basin, with strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of related oil & gas industry experience, preferably in the Delaware Basin region.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Proficient with computers and standard engineering software.

Responsibilities

  • Design pipeline and compression systems; select equipment and vendors for facilities.
  • Design water sources, treatment and disposal facilities; evaluate production facilities.
  • Provide leadership for contract and company personnel involved in construction and maintenance.

Job description

Responsibilities

Duties may include but not be limited to pipeline and compression system design, water source, treatment & disposal facility design, production facility design and project economic evaluation. Equipment and vendor selection will also be a requirement of this position as well as leadership responsibility for both contract and company personnel involved with construction and maintenance of facilities. The area of responsibility for this position may include one or more of the operations areas within the boundaries of EOG Resource’s Midland Division (Delaware Basin region).

Qualifications

An engineering degree (Petroleum, Mechanical or Civil) preferred but not required depending on level of experience and work history. A minimum of 10 years of related oil & gas industry experience, primarily in the Delaware Basin region preferred. Candidate must have good communication, interpersonal and computer skills. This position will be located in EOG Resource’s Midland, TX office. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
