Job summary

EOG Resources, Inc. is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer in Midland, TX to lead upfront planning, design, and operational support for a geographic area within the Delaware Basin.

Responsibilities include production facility design, project economics, and pipeline design from 4 to 24 inches. The role requires an engineering degree (Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical desirable) and a minimum of 5 years' oil & gas experience, plus strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of related oil & gas industry experience.

Engineering role for area engineering responsible for the upfront planning, design, and operational support of a given geographic area within Deleware Basin acreage position. Duties may include but not be limited to production facility design, project economic evaluation, pipeline infrastructure design including gas, water and hydrocarbon pipelines 4" - 24". Will work closely with other disciplines including reservior and geology to stragetically plan infrastructure. Provide SME technical skills and inventory management for various peices of equipment within facility as divided amongst team. Drive innovation of new designs and help implement concepts that will improve business margins and/or promote safer operations.

Job Requirements: An engineering degree (Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical are desirable) required. A minimum of 5 years of related oil & gas industry experience. Candidate must have good communication, interpersonal and computer skills. This position will be located in EOG Resource's Midland, TX office. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
