Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Experience in operations, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment such as pumps, valves, motors, and steam plant operations and repairs.
• General carpentry, plumbing and building repairs skills.
• 5 years’ experience or equivalent in an industrial and commercial office environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and operates facilities infrastructure at MACOM’s Hamilton, NJ site including manufacturing operations, offices with restaurant, and R&D.
• Maintain offices, grounds, and building systems to appearance and reliability.
• Maintain plant systems for manufacturing operations (HVAC, LP boiler, chiller, water systems, process cooling, waste treatment).
• Perform minor trades (carpentry, painting) for structures and fixtures.
• Use CMMS to schedule repairs, track corrective actions, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Conduct routine EHS inspections and support site compliance calendar.
