The role directs maintenance, safety, and infrastructure strategies to support research, education, and clinical services. Qualifications

• Associate degree or combination of education and experience may substitute for minimum education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; advanced degrees will be considered.
• Progressive leadership experience in facilities engineering/operations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Directs the operation, maintenance, and reliability of campus mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, utility distribution, and building automation systems.
• Ensures safe, continuous operation of critical infrastructure supporting research, clinical, and academic facilities.
• Develops maintenance strategies, procedures, and performance expectations.
• Monitors system performance and metrics to identify risks, improve reliability, and extend asset life.
• Leads root-cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures and outages.
• Supports emergency response, incident command, and business continuity for campus infrastructure.

Associate degree or equivalent experience
