Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a student pursuing an engineering, architecture, or building science degree to join our field team in the United States. You will conduct field observations at existing facilities and support facilities-related services.

You will interact with site contractors, technicians, and project managers while assisting with roofing, waterproofing, fireproofing, EIFS, testing, sampling, leak investigations, and forensic work.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related field.
• Interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures.
• Willingness to lift 40–70 lbs multiple times a day and provide suitable transportation to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field observations associated with existing facilities.
• Perform facilities-related services including roofing, waterproofing, fireproofing, EIFS, testing, sampling, leak investigations, and forensic investigations.
• Interacting and communicating effectively with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers.
