Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks an on-site technician in the Richmond, VA area to perform field observations at existing facilities. You will deliver roofing and waterproofing, EIFS, anchor testing, coring, scanning, sampling, leak investigations, and forensic investigations.

Strong communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers is essential. You are pursuing an Associate, Bachelor, or Master in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science or related field, and you must be

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Engineering/Architecture/Building Science or related field.
• Interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures.
• Ability to lift 40–70 lbs repeatedly or up to 85 lbs occasionally.
• Must have reliable transportation with mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Conducting field observations associated with existing facilities.
• Performing roofing, waterproofing, EIFS, anchor testing, coring, scanning, sampling, leak investigations, and forensic investigations.
• Interacting and communicating effectively with site contractors, technicians, and project managers.
