Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated is seeking a Facilities CSA Intern to gain hands-on experience in civil/structural engineering and architecture at our Dallas-area site. You will support site utilities, maintenance, and project management across design, procurement and construction.

You’ll develop estimates, track budgets, and assist with the engineering design of facilities, while collaborating with vendors to identify innovations and ensure safe, on-time delivery of quality work.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or architecture.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing site utilities, maintenance, and property management.
• Project management and overseeing construction projects through design, procurement and construction.
• Developing estimates and tracking budgets.
• Engineering and design of new and renovated facilities including: foundations, structures, drainage systems.
• Collaborating with vendors and contractors to identify industry innovations.
• Developing and incorporating lessons learned into Engineering Standards.
• Coordinate with experts from all engineering disciplines to deliver a coordinated project.
• Ensuring construction executes work safely, on-time and with high quality.

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or architecture

Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher
