Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Facilities Engineering Intern for the Aeronautics Sector Intern Program in Clearfield, Utah. The intern will support Engineering, Project Management and Construction Engineering teams and gain hands-on experience across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities include creating drawings, specifications, and equipment estimates, plus procurement and installation of large capital equipment and involvement in building design and modification projects.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree and graduating after August 2027.
• Majoring in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related STEM degree.
• Available to work full-time for at least 10 weeks in summer 2027.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support Engineering, Project Management and Construction Engineering teams.
• Assist in creating drawings, specifications and equipment estimates.
• Assist with procurement and installation of large capital equipment.
• Contribute to design/construction efforts for new and modified facilities.
