Job summary

Presbyterian Homes & Services, Fairway Knoll in Germantown, Wisconsin, seeks a Facilities Engineer to maintain buildings, grounds and equipment, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. This hands-on role reports to the Environment Services Director and offers a Monday–Friday, 40-hour workweek.

Responsibilities include building repairs, preventive maintenance, life-safety systems, vendor coordination, and completing daily work orders.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in commercial or residential building maintenance.
• Able to work independently, multi task, follow directions and work under supervision.
• Relate well and provide a professional image and services to all customers.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to participate in an after hours emergency on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Building and Equipment repair.
• Troubleshooting complex problems.
• Working with contractors and vendors.
• Maintain life safety systems.
• Preventive maintenance routines.
• Completion of daily work orders.
• Building, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
• Painting and apartment turns.
• Snow removal and other projects as assigned.
