Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking an Intermediate Facilities Engineer at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The role supports TEAMS Next Facilities Lifecycle Management for MDA, performing engineering, design review, and construction coordination across multiple sites.

The position requires a B.S. in Engineering (ABET-accredited) with 7+ years or an M.E./M.S. with 5+ years, plus the ability to obtain a secret clearance within 6 months. Willingness to travel up to 50% is essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering from ABET-accredited university with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Secret clearance or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in any U.S. state.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an integrated team performing engineering and construction integration and operations functions.
• Support facility engineering designs, construction project teams, and on-site equipment systems integration activities for buildings and facilities at multiple sites.
• Analyze engineering tasking requirements, establish mechanical/electrical scope and objectives, and develop Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) documents.
• Travel up to 50% of the time, CONUS, OCONUS, and international.
