Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Gaffney, SC is seeking a Facility Engineer to lead maintenance, reliability, and capital project initiatives across five industrial buildings.

You will manage budgets, supervise contractor activities, coordinate with operations and safety teams, and drive continuous improvement to support plant performance. The ideal candidate has a strong background in facility systems, project management, and CMMS experience, with SAP knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or 6 years relevant experience.
• 5+ years in industrial facilities or manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• CMMS experience (MaintainX).
• Strong budgeting and cost control skills.
• Knowledge of building systems and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support facility operations across five buildings.
• Lead facility improvement projects from concept to closeout.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans for projects.
• Coordinate contractors and internal stakeholders to execute facility projects.
• Support utility systems and building security and safety requirements.
