Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a Facilities Engineer II to maintain building infrastructure and systems, respond to emergencies, and ensure reliable operation of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems across our properties.

You will perform preventative maintenance, oversee renovations, interpret engineering drawings, and coordinate activities using two-way radios to maintain safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of facilities engineering or related maintenance experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply engineering principles.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Proficient in the safe operation of hand and power tools.
• Effective verbal and written communication for coordination via radios.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations including fires, power outages, gas leaks and other incidents.
• Execute preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Repair and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and building infrastructure.
• Oversee renovation and remodeling projects to spec and timelines.
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings to maintenance activities.
• Coordinate operations via two-way radios.
