Job summary

Rivers Casino in Philadelphia is seeking a full-time maintenance professional to keep building and facilities in top condition, performing basic repairs and preventative tasks across multiple trades including landscaping, carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and mechanical.

The role supports operations, requires 2+ years in trades, HS diploma, valid driver’s license, and ability to work flexible hours and overtime.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of basic trades experience in one or more disciplines.
• High school diploma or equivalent or technical training.
• Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Advanced knowledge of building systems technology required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days including holidays.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license; driving record must meet Rivers Casino’s requirements.

Responsibilities

• All job functions shall be performed in a safe, neat and workmanlike manner.
• Uses hand and power tools to build, repair, refurbish and maintain building components, fixtures, furniture, etc.
• Maintains clean and safe work areas; keeps maintenance logs and documents completion of work orders.
• Responds to maintenance requests and inquiries according to safety and guest service standards.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Summary:Maintains building/facilities by making basic repairs and performing basic preventative maintenance tasks throughout the casino. Assists upper level personnel in a variety of trade disciplines including but not be limited to landscaping, carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and mechanical.

• Ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Advanced knowledge of building systems technology required.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license.
• Driving record must meet driver eligibility requirements of Rivers Casino’s insurance policy.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Regularly required to see, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
