Job summary

Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore is seeking a hotel maintenance engineer to efficiently operate and maintain central HVAC and building systems on site. You will ensure reliable operation of all hotel infrastructure and collaborate with other engineers and hotel staff.

Primary duties include repairing and maintaining kitchen and laundry equipment, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing and electrical systems, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Hotel engineering experience required, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Vocational training or certification in a relevant trade; associate’s degree may be required.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lift 10–25 pounds and work in an office environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate central HVAC and mechanical equipment safely.
• Repair and maintain kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, boilers, plumbing and electrical/gas systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic problems and fix quickly and cost-effectively.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance ongoing.
