Job summary

Four Queens Hotel is seeking a maintenance technician to perform a variety of repair and service duties to ensure continuous operation of the hotel and casino. You will inspect equipment, report defects, and help maintain safety codes and guest comfort.

Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, chillers and pumps, preventive maintenance, documenting activities, and responding quickly to emergencies while safeguarding operations.

Qualifications

• Experience reading, interpreting and following general engineering drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Required or preferred Journeyman or Master Electrician license/certificate.
• Training and/or experience in HVAC, asbestos abatement procedures, EPA and OSHA regulations, and AutoCAD certification.

Responsibilities

• May be responsible for one or more of the following: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, chillers, pumps, fan coil units, etc.
• Ensures compliance with all safety, health and building codes.
• Performs preventive maintenance duties including changing filters, oiling motors, replacing light fixtures, and all annual inspections as directed by manufacturers.
• Documents and reports activities to supervisor bringing special attention to any weak areas.
• Responds immediately to emergency situations and all guest concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
