Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• High school diploma or technical training in engineering.
• Licenses/certifications in boiler operation and driver’s license as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides maintenance and repairs to building structures, systems, and equipment.
• Service, repair, and maintain refrigeration and HVAC system.
• Repair piping, fixtures and plumbing for gas, vacuum, steam and potable/non-potable systems.
• Perform electrical replacements, repairs and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain records of inspections and repairs to comply with regulatory requirements.
• May perform emergency repairs on life-safety equipment and critical systems.
• May perform daily rounds to ensure facility is safe and functional.
• May order materials, supplies and parts.
• Operate heating plant boilers when properly licensed.
