Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a facilities engineer to design, construct, operate and maintain critical facilities and systems at Memphis, TN and Southaven, MS. You will lead multi-discipline projects, coordinate contractors, and ensure compliance with standards while keeping operations reliable and efficient.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years of facilities/construction experience, plus AutoCAD or Revit proficiency. Willingness to travel and respond to emergencies is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 2+ years of professional experience in facilities engineering and/or construction.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit or similar design software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of site development projects with on-site groups to maximize productivity.
• Contractor management including RFP, specification and supplier selection.
• Provide technical engineering support to ensure compliance with standards, codes and specs.
• Commission, operate and maintain facilities with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ensure maintenance is completed and coordinate repair and contingency efforts for HVAC, high power, and fire protection systems.
• Prepare cost estimates, material requisitions, and plans for multi-discipline projects.
• Negotiate and manage construction contracts with subcontractors through close-out.
• Coordinate capital expenditure process including reviews, approvals and execution of site projects.
