Job summary

GlobalFoundries in the United States seeks an entry-level Facilities Engineer to support operation, maintenance and improvement of critical facility systems in a world-class semiconductor environment. You will work with operations, maintenance and construction teams to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective utility systems, including water, HVAC and central plant equipment.

Qualifications

• Education - BS in engineering from an accredited program.
• 1–2 years engineering experience or construction project management, including internships or co-op programs.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to learn complex technical systems and work in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Openness to occasional off-hours for operations.

Responsibilities

• Support safe operation and reliability of facility utility systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and system performance with data analysis.
• Monitor system performance and reliability metrics.
• Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist with engineering studies and system optimization projects.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams.
• Support equipment upgrades and capital projects.
• Maintain engineering documentation and drawings.
