Job summary

Axcelis Facilities Engineering Co‑op in Beverly, MA offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment. You will assist with planning, operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of building systems, under licensed technicians’ guidance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Facilities Engineering or related field.
• Familiar with mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with hand/power tools and diagnostic tools.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow safety protocols (LOTO, PPE).
• Team player who is eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of building systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems with licensed techs.
• Gain hands‑on exposure to CMMS and facility performance analysis.
• Collaborate with Facilities team across multiple site activities.
