Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Facilities Engineer for our Pineville, NC site. The role focuses on maintaining chemical handling systems, overseeing equipment procurement and installation, and ensuring safe, compliant operations in a manufacturing setting.

You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Engineering, and contractors to keep facilities running smoothly and safely. A strong mechanical background and project-management experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• 7+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
• Experience handling hazardous chemicals and related systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve chemical handling systems and infrastructure.
• Specify equipment and oversee procurement and installation of new equipment.
• Manage hazardous chemicals safely, ensuring proper storage and disposal.
• Diagnose and support plant/process equipment with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Own projects and processes within a plant environment with timely delivery.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, EH&S, Engineering, and vendors.
• Regularly inspect facilities to identify issues and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
