Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Facilities Engineer in Tucker, GA (Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM–12:00 AM) to operate and maintain complex building systems, including HVAC, BAS, and clean room environments. The role requires standard safety and GMP compliance knowledge and offers a robust benefits package.

The position emphasizes preventive maintenance, documentation in CMMS, and collaboration with engineering, lab operations, and vendors to support capital projects and energy efficiency

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification (Type I/II/Universal) required or in progress.
• OSHA 10/30 training or equivalent safety training.
• NFPA 70E electrical safety training.
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training for safe maintenance.
• Opacity Certification or equivalent environmental/air quality credentials.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot building systems including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, steam, and BAS.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure uptime of critical facilities infrastructure.
• Support clean rooms, labs, walk-in freezers, and controlled environments with precise temperature/humidity control.
• Document maintenance activities and inspections in CMMS; assist with upgrades and capital projects.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance (GMP, FDA, NFPA 70E) and participate in energy efficiency initiatives.

Bachelor's or Associate in Engineering / Facilities Management
