Job summary
Allina Health is seeking a Facilities Engineer to maintain our hospital facilities in a 24/7 environment. You will support the Facilities Team to drive patient-care excellence through reliable building systems and equipment.
Responsibilities include maintenance of HVAC, electrical systems, and life-safety equipment, with daily rounds and material sourcing as needed. Minnesota location requires boiler/licensing compliance and a commitment to safety and quality.
Qualifications
- 18+ years of age with education and/or experience to meet functional competencies.
- 2–5 years of maintenance experience; hospital setting preferred.
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general mechanical maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance and repairs to building structures, systems and equipment.
- Service, repair and maintain refrigeration and HVAC systems.
- Repair and install piping, fixtures and hardware for gas, vacuum, steam and plumbing.
- Perform electrical replacements and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Conduct daily rounds to ensure safe, operational facilities.
