Job description

Job Summary:

• Provide engineering support for projects and infrastructure, to include manufacturing and physical plant equipment installation and operation, clean room construction, infrastructure upgrades and largescale facility expansion. In addition, provide real time problem resolution in a fast paced and highly collaborative team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as a Facilities representative both on the factory floor and throughout the physical plant to ensure maximum uptime and on time performance.
• Work to balance priorities on a day-to-day basis between project work and problem resolution.
• Provide quality control assessment of activities of in house and contract skilled trades.
• Review and understand installation and operation documentation for plant and process equipment.
• Generate mechanical construction drawings and specifications for manufacturing and physical plant installation.
• Create budgets and other supporting documentation for plant upgrades and equipment installations.
• Maintain and update schedules real time during project execution.
• Respond real time to technical questions brought by project team.
• Communicate with the appropriate engineering staff as needed to ensure that questions are addressed accurately.
• Provide supervision to contract project staff to ensure timely execution. Support company initiatives, such as; quality, safety and environmental management, CQI, 5S, yield management, and cost containment. Perform other duties as required.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience in industrial Facilities plant operation
• Experience in physical plant and production equipment installation
• Skills in Mechanical, Electrical and Piping design.
• Skills in the use of scheduling software, AutoCad, Revit, excel and powerpoint
• Skill and experience with interpretation of vendor equipment install specification, architectural and engineering plans for production Facilities. Clean Room experience preferred.
• Requires bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent and 5+ years experience working in an industrial Facilities role.

Supervisory Responsibility:

• Facilities contract employees and contractor foremen.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Requires light lifting and ladder usage.
• Exposure to construction hazards and heights (building rooftop), toxic materials in the fab, high noise levels, and wide temperature fluctuations.
• Ability to be active on the job site for 50% or more of the day.

The estimated base salary range for the position is $76,000- $101,000. The pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, job-related experience, skills and level of the position.
