Job summary

Prasco in Mason, OH is seeking a skilled electrician to maintain, install, and repair building electrical systems across our campus and facilities.

The role requires a high school diploma, 4–5 years in electrical trades, and Journeyman electrician status is preferred. You may assist with plumbing and carpentry as needed and support campus events with temporary power distribution.

General Purpose of Position: To assist in maintaining all electrical components of the building and the surrounding properties. Would be expected to perform any maintenance outside of electrical (i.e., painting, cleaning, plumbing, etc.) that is required to keep up the daily operations of the building.Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Duties/Responsibilities1Maintain, install, and repair building electrical systems and equipment2Install new conduits, wiring, switches, outlets, and electrical equipment to support changing facility operational needs3Conduct routine checks on building infrastructure, emergency backup systems, and lighting controls4Assist the broader facilities team with general campus maintenance to ensure all buildings remain fully functional5Execute all tasks in strict compliance with OSHA standards and local building regulations6Set up, monitor, and tear down temporary power distribution systems for special campus events and functions7Provide on-call or standby support to troubleshoot immediate power issuesTravel:Position may require 5-10% travelWork Shift:This position works days.
