Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Facilities Central Engineering Team in Lehi, UT. You will drive continuous improvement of electrical low-voltage switchgear, transformers, and distribution, ensuring 24/7 operation and compliance with electrical standards.

You will lead design and optimization efforts, mentor engineers, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and EHS to advance system reliability and safety across the manufacturing campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering decisions balancing safety, reliability, cost and efficiency.
• Design and improve electrical systems including switchgear, transformers, UPS, and power monitoring.
• Provide technical support for operations, maintenance and incident response.
• Develop and maintain electrical documentation such as one-line drawings and procedures.
• Drive reliability through root cause analysis, FMEAs and improvement roadmaps.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to improve system performance and safety.
