Texas Instruments Incorporated is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Facilities Central Engineering Team in Lehi, Utah. The role will drive continuous improvement and optimization of electrical low-voltage switchgear, transformers, emergency power, and distribution systems to support 24/7 manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Make engineering decisions that balance safety, reliability, cost, capacity, and operational efficiency
• Lead analysis, design, and continuous improvement of electrical systems (switchgear, transformers, UPS, emergency power, panels, power monitoring)
• Provide engineering technical support for system operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident response
• Develop and maintain key electrical documentation including one-line drawings, standard order of operations, standard operation procedures, and process documents
• Drive reliability and risk-based engineering through root cause analysis, FMEAs, system assessments, and improvement roadmaps
• Partner with operations, maintenance, manufacturing, EHS, and engineering teams to improve system performance and safe operation
• Mentor engineers, system specialists, and technicians while strengthening overall team technical capability
• Lead capital and expense projects for system upgrades, expansions, and optimization initiatives from concept through startup and handoff
• Define project scope, priorities, schedules, resources, and success measures, and drive execution to plan
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities to ensure systems perform as intended
• Develop scopes of work, bid packages, technical specifications, and construction documentation
• Facilitate alignment across engineering, operations, supply chain, and external partners throughout project execution
• Identify and manage project risks, change control, and implementation issues to minimize operational impact
• Report project progress, results, and lessons learned to leadership
