Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Design and Construction Electrical Engineer at the Clay, New York site to lead the design, construction, and ongoing improvement of site-wide electrical systems for advanced semiconductor manufacturing.

You will perform field inspections, evaluate safety and reliability, and develop improvement recommendations while coordinating with facilities and manufacturing teams to meet project objectives. Relocation Level: TBD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years facilities engineering in semiconductor manufacturing or similar.
• 5+ years electrical design and/or project management experience.
• Experience with power distribution, substations, building power, lighting, UPS and generators.
• PMP certification and direct semiconductor fabrication design experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections during construction to ensure specs, scope, schedule and budget.
• Evaluate electrical systems for safety, reliability, and performance with improvement recommendations.
• Lead electrical design and oversee construction drawings for facility projects.
• Ensure constructability and successful execution around operating manufacturing environments.
• Partner with facilities and manufacturing to support objectives.
