Skyworks Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer to support facilities operations and manufacturing. You will evaluate electrical systems, review budgets/ROI, read NEC codes, and drive energy-reduction projects across site operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of manufacturing electrical experience; visa sponsorship is not offered. Starting base pay varies with experience and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing electrical elements on-site for safety and integrity and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Review and challenge cost estimates, budgets and ROI analysis for electrical projects.
• Read and interpret NEC codes and design drawings and specifications.
• Drive energy-reduction projects and support sustainability goals.
• Own electrical operations and maintenance of the overall electrical system.
• Coordinate with on-site electrical contractors and service providers.
• Troubleshoot electrical system problems and perform arc flash studies.
• Track, trend and analyze electrical system usage.
