Job summary

American Honda Motor Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering leader to drive multi-disciplinary facility projects.

You will lead design, PLCs, VSDs, and protection schemes, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with codes while optimizing maintenance and operations. Join our team in Ohio to manage budgets, schedules, and resources, delivering safe, reliable infrastructure for our manufacturing and corporate facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1–8+ years of related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical utility and infrastructure systems.
• PE license; project management experience; building codes and standards knowledge.
• Experience with PLCs, variable speed drives, motors, robotics; Maximo experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD/Revit, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary facility electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with contractors, designers, and internal teams to meet specifications and schedule.
• Monitor progress, manage resources, and resolve technical issues.
• Evaluate and implement preventative maintenance and optimization for facilities systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and Honda requirements.
