Job summary

W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. in Elkton, Maryland is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our facilities team. You will design, build, and commission electrical systems to meet customer specifications and standards, supporting cross-functional teams and leading projects from inception through start-up.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in an industrial setting.
Experience with plant electrical distribution, arc flash studies, and breaker coordination.
Experience programming PLCs and HMI interfaces; strong CAD drawing ability.

Responsibilities

Design electrical power distribution for plants and equipment per NFPA/AHJ requirements.
Provide hands-on electrical design and support for facility equipment (drives, PLCs, HMIs).
Lead complex projects from scope to start-up and qualification, including SOWs.
