Job summary

RTX has an opening for an Electrical Engineer - Facilities (Design, Estimating, Scheduling) based in Andover, MA. This hands-on role supports electrical design, distribution, and construction PM for office renovations, lab fit-ups, and manufacturing equipment installations.

Responsibilities include project estimating, load sizing, design of building electrical systems, development of bid documents, and coordination with IT, safety, and contractors.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of facilities electrical design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience with high, medium, and low voltage systems, load sizing, and coordination studies.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Estimate project costs and develop bid documents.
• Design building electrical systems and distribution for offices, labs, and manufacturing areas.
• Manage projects from design through bid, construction, and closeout.
• Coordinate with IT, safety, security, contractors, and suppliers.
• Support RTX sites in Andover MA and nearby locations as needed.
