Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking Facilities Electrical Engineers to support maintenance, troubleshooting and development of industrial monitoring equipment at the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) with the Facilities team.

You will perform engineering evaluations and analyses and contribute to technical requirements while working as part of a multi-disciplinary group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical, engineering or science field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's with 1 year; or currently an Intermediate Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering evaluations and analyses and make engineering decisions for all aspects of assigned tasks.
• Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for technical requirements in maintenance, troubleshooting and development of equipment at NRF.
• Support maintenance, troubleshooting and development of equipment at NRF.

Rockwell automation experience

Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)

Industrial networking experience

Education

Facilities Electrical Engineers at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) are engaged throughout their career to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of industrial monitoring equipment. This exciting opportunity is located at the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) with our Facilities team! This role will perform engineering evaluations and analyses and make engineering decisions for all aspects of assigned tasks. The successful candidate will participate as a member of a multi-disciplined team responsible for technical requirements in the maintenance, troubleshooting and development of equipment at NRF.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience; or Currently an Intermediate Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field (RPCO) Engineer at the Company.

Pay Range

$78,700.00 - $120,500.00 annually Salary information provided is a general guideline only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation.
