Boston Harbor City Cruises is seeking Facilities Assistants for our operation in Boston, MA.

Salary Range: $15/hr.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

Facilities assistants are responsible for maintaining the overall appearance of the dock and pier, overseeing the day-to-day receiving and distribution of F&B products throughout the fleet, and assisting in various tasks as needed by management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Organize all products received through deliveries for easy access by staff.
• Take daily inventory of all alcohol products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.
• Receive and process orders from vessels.
• Deliver products to vessels, ensuring correct delivery to galley bartenders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pier, including sweeping, bathroom supplies, trash removal, and dumpster area upkeep.
• Assist vessels with docking and line handling.
• Perform general labor tasks on the pier and assist management as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to prepare basic food items and knowledge of food allergens is a plus.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work extended periods standing and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
