Job summary

Senior Resource Group in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a maintenance leader to safeguard residents' safety and comfort. You will ensure the physical plant, FF&E, and grounds are maintained in excellent condition, and you will plan, organize, schedule, and staff a broad range of activities within the Maintenance Department.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, two years of supervisory experience, and working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Technical degree from a two-year college or vocational school, or five years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Two years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility and equipment to determine service needs and required equipment.
• Assign workers to maintenance, repair, or renovation tasks and obtain bids from outside contractors.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedule and maintain records.
• Purchase building and maintenance supplies, machinery, equipment, and furniture; obtain bids from outside contractors as needed.
• Prepare evacuation and emergency procedures.
• Perform maintenance functions inside and outside the facility.
