Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or environmental-services leadership experience is required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, hospital, or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, life-safety standards, and emergency procedures is expected.
• Familiarity with healthcare surveys and regulatory compliance is advantageous.
• Knowledge of housekeeping, laundry, sanitation, and infection-control practices is valuable.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry departments.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate department staff.
• Ensure resident rooms, common areas, offices, and grounds are clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Develop and manage preventive-maintenance programs for building systems and equipment.
• Coordinate routine repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
