Job summary

Bridge Crest Post Acute is seeking a Maintenance Director to plan, organize, and direct the maintenance department in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Ensure the facility is safe, well-maintained, and visits are coordinated with other departments.

The role requires at least 3 years in a supervisory maintenance position, knowledge of boilers and electrical systems, and the ability to read blueprints and interpret safety codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance/plant-related position.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and related mechanical/electrical/plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Must be licensed in accordance with current standards, codes, and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Maintenance Department and its programs.
• Coordinate maintenance services with other departments (Dietary, Nursing, Activities, etc.).
• Supervise safety and fire protection programs by inspecting areas and equipment weekly.
• Ensure outside vendors' work is completed and supervised per contracts/work orders.
• Develop and implement infection control and universal precautions in maintenance.
• Maintain inventory, storage, and equipment for a safe facility environment.
• Assist in preparing the Maintenance Department budget and cost reports.
