Job summary

New Life Frederick, a growing Foursquare church in Frederick, Maryland, is seeking a full-time Director of Campus Management to coordinate facilities and property operations across its six-building campus, including New Life Christian School. The role oversees maintenance, repairs, grounds, and safety, aligning with weekend ministry and school needs.

You will supervise contractors and staff, manage construction and improvement projects, support budgeting, and ensure campus security and emergency

Qualifications

• Hands-on trade skills across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry and painting.
• Working knowledge of building operations and facility maintenance.
• Strong organizational and self-directed initiative; able to manage volunteers and contractors.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing maintenance, emergency repairs, and overall operation of all church buildings and grounds.
• Coordinate contractors and tradespeople; perform hands-on maintenance tasks.
• Oversee exterior grounds, including lawn care, snow removal, and water management; manage weekly cleaning and room configuration for school and church use.
• Oversee construction and facility improvement projects; manage property inventory and records; train staff on equipment use; assist with facilities budgeting; oversee safety, security, and emergency protocols.
• Summer duties include primary construction project contact for New Life Christian School with contract administration.
• Secure campus each evening (Sun–Thu) and be available for on-call needs; report to Executive Pastor and collaborate with Head of School.
