Job summary

The Highlands at Dove Mountain is seeking a dedicated maintenance professional to oversee the appearance, safety, and operations of the association’s clubhouse and facilities. You will work with vendors, supervise staff, and coordinate capital projects to ensure optimal condition and service across the community.

Responsibilities include maintaining electrical, plumbing, paint, and AV systems, managing maintenance software, and leading teams while upholding Highlands policies and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelor’s or Trade Certification preferred.
• 5 years maintenance experience preferred.
• Pima County pool certification required.
• Demonstrated electrical and plumbing experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain appearance and conditions of Association buildings and equipment (excluding golf maintenance) in and around the clubhouse, parking lots, courts, pool, and roads.
• Coordinate and supervise capital projects with the Community Manager.
• Develop relationships with vendors and schedule their services.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, painting, AV and related systems.
• Implement and manage Highlands Northstar Maintenance Software.
• Prioritize maintenance requests, order parts, and schedule contractors.
• Supervise facilities staff and train on safety and equipment operation per OSHA standards.
• Attend IFC, FAC and Board meetings as needed.
• Manage independent cleaning contractors for facilities.
• Follow Highlands policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Job Summary

This highly visible position is responsible for the maintenance and overall appearance and conditions of The Highlands. Essential Job Functions

• Maintain the overall appearance and proper working conditions of the Association buildings and equipment (excluding golf maintenance equipment) in and around the clubhouse, including the parking lots, sports courts, pool and roads in the community
• Along with the Community Manager, coordinate and supervise capital projects
• Create relationships with vendors and schedule their services as appropriate
• Maintain and repair association facilities; (e.g., electrical, plumbing, paint, AV)
• Implement and manage Highlands Northstar Maintenance Software
• Prioritize and delegate all maintenance requests, order or resource parts and schedule contractors
• Supervise facilities staff
• Train employees regarding safe operation of equipment and working conditions under OSHA standards
• Attend IFC, FAC and Board meetings as necessary.
• Manage independent cleaning contractors for facility.
• Abide by all Highlands policies and procedures
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
