Job summary

Diversified Energy Company PLC is seeking a facilities engineer to own full-cycle design for pad projects, from Basis of Design to construction support. You will develop project plans, manage scope within time and budget, and coordinate with operations and regulatory teams.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, proficiency with oilfield codes and P&ID development, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while presenting recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or Civil Engineering required.
• 5–8 years relevant experience in facility design/oil & gas projects.
• Proficient with oilfield facilities codes/standards/RPs and P&ID development.
• Strong ability to provide independent design judgments and trade-offs.
• Demonstrated capability to present design recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle facility design from Basis of Design through construction support.
• Develop project plans and manage them within time and budget constraints.
• Diagnose problems with engineering staff and operations to improve facility performance.
• Author and own Basis of Design (BOD) documents for new pad facilities.
• Lead or facilitate HAZOPs as node lead and coordinate design with Production, Regulatory, and Land teams.
