Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor in Tampa, FL to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas in client sites. The role requires flexibility to adapt to client needs and tasks, with a focus on reliable, quality cleaning.

The position offers full-time hours (Mon-Fri) with weekly pay and opportunities to grow within a leading facilities maintenance company. Prior cleaning experience is valued, and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or six months janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail essential and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow chemical cleaner and equipment procedures to protect floors and objects.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and entrances.
• Empty trash, use compactor as needed.
• Clean windows, glass and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule and operate heavy cleaning equipment as required.
• Other duties as assigned by scope of work or customer needs.
