Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an Ops Janitor to maintain clean, safe facilities in Raleigh, NC. The role requires floor care, trash removal, restroom upkeep, window cleaning, and general dusting across office and lab spaces.

Candidates should be self-motivated, able to lift ~50 lbs, and operate cleaning equipment. Basic electrical/plumbing/carpentry skills are a plus. The position is full-time and on-site with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Self-starting, independent work style.
• Ability to push/pull wagons, carts, and dollies.
• Stamina to stand ~80% of shift and lift around 50 lbs.
• English reading/speaking for receipts and reports.
• Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, buff, and vacuum floors using cleaning equipment.
• Empty trash and service restrooms; clean windows and fixtures.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment; mix cleaning solutions as required.
• Move heavy items and report major repairs to management.
• Maintain cleaning machines and follow chemical safety procedures.
• Provide a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for staff.
