Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in janitorial or custodial services is a plus.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Physical stamina for repetitive tasks; bend, lift, stand for long periods.
• Good time management and teamwork skills.
• Understanding health and safety practices in cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms with stocked supplies.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recycling per procedures.
• Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces.
• Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies; report issues.
• Assist in setting up meeting rooms and event spaces.
• Ensure common areas are clean and presentable.
• Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and a safe workplace.
• Follow cleaning schedules and checklists for thorough cleaning.
